Photography has been apart of my life since the day I was born. With my father being a professional photographer, I was never too far from the lens (most of the time trying to avoid being in front of it). Once I received my first DSLR camera for my fourteenth birthday, my fate was sealed.
It was when I came to Syracuse University I realized my passions for graphic design and video editing as a producer for CitrusTV, the student run tv station on campus and classes in the Newhouse School. Being able to grow my creativity through new media has been an eyeopening experience and I have a deep appreciation for all art forms (especially being a drama geek in high school and editor-in-chief of my high school newspaper).
My creative side is balanced with my deep sense of wanderlust and avid thirst for knowledge of global issues and their possible solutions. I am an International Relations major studying the French language with a concentration in European studies and Intercultural Communication. I aspire to generate conversation with diverse groups of people to help the world become a happier and healthier place to live. I have a strong belief that while productive conversations are an important first step, tangible actions with visible solutions make change a reality.
In my (somewhat limited) free time, I enjoy sailing, reading, cooking and deep conversations with as many different people as possible. Being actively involved on campus is so important to me, and I have met so many people that have changed my life with memories I will never forget.
